The Junior Fisherman's Tournament of Claytor Lake {#OneBeautifulThing}

{First things first, the winner of Kent Weakley's Night Photo eClass is Holimess! Congrats!}

Last weekend my brother-n-law put together a fishing tournament for the kids in our family (LOTS of boys!)...

 The kids had a blast and the parents did too. Every time they pulled a fish out of the water (baited by pancakes I tell you!) the joy and pride on their faces was contagious. We were so proud of how they handled it, and most of them were incredibly patient while they waited for something to bite (a feat in and of itself, I assure you).

It was a day I'll remember for years to come. Man, I love those kids. And boy, do I love making memories with them that make us all smile.

For a bonus photo, and in case you want to host a Junior Fishing Tournament of your own one day, I thought I'd show you the official rules, hand-written by my nephew.

Oh, and by the way, my baby won big fish... Proud mama moment anyone?

It's my One Beautiful Thing for the week friend. What's yours?
